Culture talks : Non-verbal and verbal communication in Italian and Swiss German - a comparative approach

Communication is a term we get confronted with often, but we do not really know how to define it, especially non-verbal communication. In my Matura paper I researched about communicative differences in the two cultures I grew up in and I found out more about the clichés associated with these cultures.  After researching about verbal and non-verbal communication, I put into practice my knowledge through interviews with people from Switzerland and Italy. Interestingly, the results were different from my expectations. I learned that communication is broader and more complex than I had imagined.
